2004 St. Supéry Napa Valley
Winemaker Michael Beaulac's textbook Sauvignon never sees oak, keeping its lime and grapefruit flavors as pure as fresh fruit.
This 2004 Chardonnay is a seamless wine with a beautiful core of peach, pear, pineapple, fig and hazelnut. The palate is a combination of pear, honeydew melon, vanilla crème and slight butterscotch. Highlights of spicy nuances show up on the long and complex aftertaste. Simply delicious from start to finish
St. Supery makes rich, complex, yet approachable Napa Valley wines that feature the outstanding fruit from our estate vineyards first, and winemaking influences second. St. Supery’s trademark varietals are Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon. We make several smaller lots of terrific wines, several of which are only available directly through the winery.
St. Supéry first invested in vineyards in 1982 with the acquisition of Dollarhide, a 1,500-acre property in northeast Napa Valley. The winery has continued to invest in vineyards since that time, knowing that only through close management of the grapes in the vineyards can we ensure the highest quality wines in the bottle. In total, St. Supéry has over 500 planted acres in Napa Valley. It is in these vineyards, with very diverse terrains, that St. Supéry wines get their start.
